Hi all, here is a video tutorial i made on how to turn your electronic cigarette into a platinum work of art e-cig! Ive called it the “igetcha69 BLING-CIG”. Hope you guys enjoy it, and if you decide to make one then please be carefull and use safety specs………especially when making the platinum mouthpiece. Cheers, Scott………….. hi mate,
nah, i just had a few already made up and grabbed the one closest to me to demonstrate it at the end……………but well spotted though! lol
cheers,
scott
Hey Scott what happened to the first battery you were using? The first one has the red led while at the end of the video the led is blue
Did the first battery got broken?
LoL I did this with my first 510s!
It’s easier now you can take the KR’s sticker off and stick it on a platinum battery and it’s about the same:)
thats awesome, thanks scott
that is sweet mate!!
I still like the idea of the mouthpiece for the 401 cause the carts stretch kinda easy. When I inhale I can hear air leaking in from where the cart slips over the atty…the metal sleeve seems to keep it tighter.
hi mate,
a lot of sites have platinum e-cigs now. check out:-
theelectroniccigarettecompany com (usa)
theelectroniccigarette co uk (UK)
they have several platinum models and you can get a 7% discount if you use this code at checkout

cheers,
scott
oh ok so there ARE platinums
can you tell me which ones so i can take a look at them?
hi mate,
this is an old vid now……….at the time of uploading there was no platinum e-cigs on the market!
cheers,
scott
looks great now
isnt there an already-platinum e-cig though?
hahhahahah, I was thinkin the same thing bro, just I look at it as a more comon form for you every day joe to get now adays cause generally people aren’t as machine savy.
Awesome! It’s a vast improvement. But, I would sand the empty battery case prior to cutting it. Then just cut off the part I didn’t sand. Love your reviews!!!
hi mate,
with regards to cutting juice with glycerine it really comes down to the individuals personal preferance. a lot of people cut it 50/50 and are really pleased with the way it vapes……….like you said, tons of vapour! but just bare in mind that the more glycerine you add, the more you reduce the nicotine content and it effects the flavour.
if i cut a high mg juice then i normally do it 8ml juice / 2ml glycerine.
hope that helps!
cheers,
scott

scott could you either advise or do a review on cutting e liquid 50/50 with glycerine. wether you advise against it or your all for it, im currently using it and it makes such a difference vapour wise and throat hit, but would realy value your take on it,
thanx
adam
by the way the video above, pure genius.
jack of all trades. lol
You did good!
Sounds like a compliment to me!
No need to buy a $4000 bench lathe when your getto lathe will finish the job just fine.
im not sure if thats a compliment or not! lol
cheers,
scott
HAHAHAHAHA!!!! That was hilarious. I’ll probably use the lathe in my shop, but good show. My instructors will love this clip. I honestly have never heard of someone creating a hand lathe. I don’t think anyone outside of machining can really grasp how ridiculous this looks. This brings ghetto rigging to a whole new level.
hi mate,
yes thats correct………but ive already got a ton of those parts! lol
The bit you chucked in the bin at 4:21 can be used to make your own pass through.
hi mate,
i uploaded this vid in march so my fingers have all healed nicely now thanks
chers,
scott
Pretty cool Scott. Thanks.
I see your fingers were/are still broken. Buddy, go see a doc will ya?
beauty of a mod thanks
cheers mate, no worries!
as for engineer, well this is nothing compared to some of the e-cig modifications other guys have made! do a google search for a “screwdriver e-cig”…..that thing was made out of a torch!!!
Whew! Timely response, Scott.
I will be sure to keep both of these in mind.
Thanks for the pro-tips. You are quite the E-Cig engineer.
hi mate,
using sandpaper was the 1st thing i tried but it causes so much friction that it causes the plastic cartridge to melt and buckle.
if you can get the plastic cart to the correct size for the mouthpiece without damaging it then it makes it a lot easier to insert.
cheers,
scott
