The petition has closed, but please read on: The FDA still wants to ban the import and sale of “electronic” cigarettes in the United States as “unsafe” and “unapproved drugs.” A Federal judge in January ruled that the FDA does not have jurisdiction over the import of e-cigs. The FDA will keep trying but it’s up to US (e-cig smokers) to protect our right to substitute a product that even a jack-ass knows is safer than tobacco! Banning e-cigarettes will do MORE harm than allowing them to be used as a quiting aid or as a substitute for smoking carcinogenic tobacco products. Nicotine, in and of itself, does NOT cause disease!
